講真，北區（粉嶺、上水）嘅家長搵英文補習，一直都係全港最難搞嘅其中一區。唔係間區冇好導師，而係交通位置加上北區英中比例偏低，令到合適導師供應一直都緊張。根據 GETUTOR 後台統計，過去兩年北區英文科嘅試堂後繼續率大約 78%*，係新界東幾個區入面最低。唔係北區學生質素差，而係好多導師都唔肯跨區去粉嶺、上水教，學生揀嘅空間細咗。
粉嶺區較受關注嘅學校有粉嶺禮賢會中學、東華三院李嘉誠中學、聖芳濟各書院等，當中中英夾雜嘅教學環境令學生嘅 Writing 同 Speaking 壓力好大。DSE 英文 Paper 2 寫作同 Paper 4 口試，正正係北區學生最失分嘅兩張卷。根據 GETUTOR 2024-2026 年北區英文科配對紀錄，樣本約 310 宗，當中約 43% 查詢都係指明要補 Paper 2 Writing*。

專補粉嶺區 Band 1 英中（例如粉嶺禮賢會、東華三院李嘉誠）、擁有 8 年補習經驗嘅 Miss R（按導師私隱要求使用化名，導師資歷已獲 GETUTOR 平台認證）指出：
「好多粉嶺嘅學生其實識字、生字唔差，但一去到 Writing 就跌 Level。點解？因為佢哋成日用中文思維直譯英文，寫出嚟嘅句都係 subject + verb + object 咁死板。我教學生第一步唔係操 vocab，而係教佢哋用『三大技巧』：善用考評局過往題目 pattern、套用近期社會熱話（例如 AI、環保、精神健康），同埋代入角色去諗篇文。譬如今年 2025 出題如果係 letter to editor，你代入一個家長 vs 一個學生寫嘅內容會完全唔同，個 tone 同 perspective 先會生動。」
Miss R 仲補充：「另外 Writing 要分三階段做：planning 花 5-7 分鐘鋪排 outline，writing 25-30 分鐘落筆，checking 必須留 5-7 分鐘改 grammar 同 tense。好多學生連 checking 嗰步都冇做，次次都因為 tense 錯失分，好可惜。」
關於 Miss R：香港大學文學士畢業（主修翻譯），IELTS 8.5，曾任國際學校英文科助教兩年，之後轉做全職私補。教學年資 7 年，累計教過超過 40 個 DSE 英文學生，當中約 12 個攞到 Level 5 或以上*。教學風格偏向逐段批改，唔係齋講技巧。

同家長講白：粉嶺區配對時間比市區耐少少，主要係因為跨區導師要諗埋交通成本。建議家長預留多啲時間畀我哋搵人，或者考慮網上補習 option，選擇會多好多。
防伏位一：唔好迷信「金句」同範文背誦。好多出面嘅雞精班會畀你一堆 fancy phrases 背，但考評局近年嘅 marking scheme 已經明確咁扣「memorised content」嘅分。學生寫出嚟一段好靚嘅英文，但同題目脫節，會被視為 irrelevant，輕則跌 Content 分，重則個段當冇寫。
防伏位二：Paper 3 Listening 聽唔明就跳。好多學生聽到一個字唔識就停低諗，結果錯失後面幾條題目。GETUTOR 導師建議嘅「捨棄策略」：遇到聽唔明嘅地方，即刻跳去下一題，保持節奏最重要。一條題目 1 分，停低諗會連累 3-4 條。
防伏位三：Speaking 唔係講得多就好。Paper 4 group discussion 考評局睇嘅係 interaction，唔係你一個人長篇大論。學生最常錯嘅就係搶住講，結果冇 build on others’ ideas 嘅分。正確做法：每次發言先回應上一個人（「I see your point, but…」），再提出自己觀點。
防伏位四：Grammar 錯誤最常見係 tense consistency。北區學生 feedback 入面，大約 39% Writing 扣分都係因為時態唔統一*。寫完一定要檢查：由頭到尾用同一個時態嗎？過去事件有冇誤用現在式？

個案分享：一位粉嶺區 Band 1 英中嘅中六學生，配對前 Mock 英文得 Level 3（Writing 係 Level 2）。經過 11 堂私補後（主力補 Paper 2 長文同 Paper 3 Integrated），DSE 最終攞到 Level 4*。導師嘅策略係先搞掂 Grammar 基礎，再用 outline 方法訓練 Writing 思維，最後 4 堂全部用嚟操真 DSE past paper。

如果目標係由 Level 3 升 Level 4，基本上 10-12 堂私補（約 3 個月）係可以做到嘅。但如果想由 Level 2 跳去 Level 5，就坦白講時間太緊。建議集中火力搞掂 Paper 2 Writing，因為呢張卷回報率最高。
根據 GETUTOR 北區配對數據，43% 學生指明要補 Paper 2 Writing，其次係 Paper 4 Speaking（約 27%）。北區中文學校比例較高，所以 Writing 同 Speaking 嘅英語輸出係最大痛點。
