Hello! I am a HKU Social Science student.

I am confident in teaching English Speech and IB English B. I have taken a gap semester and taught English in a primary school within the whole semester. Currently, I am a teaching assistant in an English Speech and Debate Training Organization in Shenzhen. Myself also got top 3 in NSDA English Speech contest in my hometown city Changsha. Besides, I got 7.5/9 when I was 16, first time taking IELTS. Moreover, my listening and reading were 9/9.

Moreover, I am confident at teaching Chinese A HL/SL and Chinese B HL/SL, especially the parts of comparative writing and oral test. Although I got 6/7 in Chinese A, I think it is because my strength (comparative writing) was omitted in my final test due to the pandemic. Although I got 6/7, my teacher said that I have capability of high 7. I have taught more than 15 students in Chinese A comparative writing and oral tests. They give positive feedback on my teaching. I can hardly promise to improve students’ grades from 5 to 7, but I would try my best. I would trigger their interest and provide sound advice on their writing.

Besides, I can only speak Mandarin and English. I cannot speak Cantonese. I studied IB since senior high and touched full English teaching system since senior high. Thereby, I think I can help with students in adapting to IB and full English teaching system.
