I am a recent Business and Management graduate from the University of Reading, achieving an upper second class. During my time in university, I volunteered at a secondary school, teaching English to students who speak English as a second language. In some cases, I helped them revise for their upcoming GCSE public examinations, in subjects such as English and History. I found this experience very fulfilling; as taking public examinations is already very difficult, and the students I helped had the extra hurdle of taking these exams in their second language, helping them learn English felt very meaningful. As a student, I took the IGCSE, so I have experience navigating this system, achieving an 8 in both English Literature and English Language, developing my own techniques to help my achieve these grades, thus, I feel I can help current students achieve their goals.
