家長，您好！本人為英華女學校應屆畢業生，2020DSE考生。本人從小參與過不同種類的補習班，因此明白家長們的需要，希望能讓子女受到更集中更度身訂造的教程，而本人身為一名學生的同時亦是香港女子少年排球隊隊員，深知學習的精要，如何温習重點和考試的貼士亦是不可或缺。本人希望以過來人的身份，了解學生的問題，從而以合適的方法令學生更加對學習有興趣並解決功課及知識上的疑難。 ⭐️中學時期屢次考獲校內全級中文丶英文丶數學丶通識丶化學和物理 TOP25%in form ⭐️操流利的英語丶廣東話及普通話 ⭐️參與GAPSK普通話基準試於聽辦的項目獲得卓越(即A等)而說話的項目則獲得優良(則B等) ⭐️於校內擔任學生會文康的崗位，因而有良好的表達能力及溝通能力，能夠清晰向學生傳授知識及排解疑難 ⭐️於中六時獲得校長推薦計劃(全校只有4-5名學生能夠得到) ⭐️得到香港大學丶香港科技大學丶香港樹仁大學等有條件取錄(conditional offer) ⭐️多次代表學校和香港到各地排球集訓以及進行聯賽(例如泰國和中國) ⭐️家長可提供想要學習的方向和內容，然後本人會按不同的程度給予練習 ⭐️本人有一年於補習社及提供私人補習經驗，性格樂天並有耐性，會用心指導學生 Personal Profile 自我介紹 My name is Lau Ying Yu, Greta. I am a DSE graduate of 2020. My target groups are students from kindergarten, primary school and junior forms of secondary school. I am glad to get along with children and take care of them. My strengths are teaching young kids and help checking their homework, as well as solving their academic questions. I am fluent in English, Putonghua and Cantonese, so I am capable to teach students in both speaking and writing aspects. I have also joined different speech competition, such as The Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (Both English and Cantonese), receiving plenty of positive comments and even awarded prizes. I am a patient, cheerful and kind person. I like spending time with children. As a person with passion on teaching and learning, I understand the most efficient way of learning is not mechanically memorizing but to learn from experiences. Nevertheless, it is important to help children to develop interest on learning under lively atmosphere.
