My name is Hassan Hassan, with over a decade of experience teaching students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, coupled with advanced academic qualifications and a commitment to student-centered education, I am eager to contribute to your dynamic and multicultural learning community. I hold an M.A. in English Linguistics with honors from Bar-Ilan University, a B.A. in English and Arabic Language and Literature from Haifa University, and a Teaching Diploma in English as a Foreign Language from Levinsky College. This certification was offered through Teach First Israel, part of the global Teach For All network, which operates in 50 countries. The program emphasizes placing students at the center of learning and fostering inclusive, high-impact teaching practices. My academic journey—rooted in languages, cultures, and education—reflects a lifelong passion for communication and cross-cultural understanding. My master’s thesis examined the Arabic spoken in Muslim Alawite and other native Arabic communities in the Golan Heights, a study that deepened my appreciation for linguistic diversity and social identity. With over 10 years of experience teaching students from diverse speaking communities, including Muslims, Jews, and Christians, I have developed a deep understanding of how to create inclusive classrooms that encourage curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking. I also have three years of experience as a coordinator, during which I managed summer schools and coordinated programs with the foundation Debate for Peace, leading student delegations to the United Nations in New York and Connecticut, including YaleMUN at Yale University. These experiences strengthened my management, coordination, teamwork, and decision-making skills, and I am open to contributing to your community not only as a teacher but also in additional coordination or management roles if needed. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics and Middle Eastern Studies, where understanding cultures is central to both my research and my approach to education. Alongside my teaching and coordination experience, I am the founder of Lingua Gates, a business offering Business English training, translation services, and summer language programs in collaboration with institutions such as Regent and Concord International Schools (UK). These experiences have strengthened my belief in education as a bridge between cultures and as a tool for global citizenship.
