I am Zawadi Namanyi Kerubo, a year 1 student at the University of Hong Kong. My passion lies in the acquisition of knowledge, as I am curious about learning about a myriad of different fields, ranging from academia to musical skills such as playing the guitar. That being said, I am particularly interested in Psychology and Neuroscience. Even as I enjoy discovering new information for myself, I am eager to share that information with those around me. .I am a firm believer that there is strength in seeking out help, and would be honoured to assist an array of students to meet their own individual academic goals, hence my passion for passing on knowledge. With three years of experience as a private tutor, I have developed a strong foundation in providing personalized educational support that caters to individual student needs. My background in tutoring has equipped me with skills in test preparation and progress reporting, ensuring that students not only understand the material but also feel confident about their abilities. I have also learned to integrate creative thinking with my academic learning process, and use it to create memorable and useful study materials- such as notes and mnemonics. Furthermore, I am able to communicate effectively in English, given that it is my first language. Coming from a background where academic excellence is highly valued, I understand the students’ need to succeed in their studies, and am eager to contribute to that success. My investigative working style drives my passion for understanding complex concepts and conveying them clearly to my students. This approach allows me to prepare effective teaching materials and engage learners actively, whether online or in person. It would be an honor to contribute positively to GETUTOR’s mission by helping students achieve their academic goals through dedicated one-on-one tutoring sessions.
