In 2007, I had an opportunity to go to America to further my study as an exchange student. After that, I entered Liberty University and finished my bachelor degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). I also lived in an American family so as to immerge in the culture.
During the university, I took classes in theatre and music as well and I was working as the main actor for a university program named ‘Gears’ ( 太陽計劃）in Hong Kong. I believe teaching could be more fun if we step outside the box and help students to apply what they have learnt.

I am also familiar with children literature. The Newberry awards and Caldecott awards are the most prestigious awards among children books in the US. The authors such as Dr. Suess and Ms. Kate Dicamillo are great stories tellers for children, teenager and even adult.
From 2009 to 2012, I was an ESL tutor in the USA. From 2012 to 2013, I was an instructor in Yan Bian University in China. During summer holidays, I would teach English tutoring center in Hong Kong. Although I taught mainly pre-university and university level students, I also had other teaching experience with children aged from 8- 14 in language camps, play groups and tutoring centers.

From 2013-2014, I was an English teacher mainly focus on DSE English in NEW TIME Education Centre. I was very good at coaching students and helped them developed a learning plan and goal specific for their own need.

From 2016 to 2019, I was a private IBDP tutor working only for international students such as Canadian International School, Stamford American School, Yew Chung International School. Also I am fully capable and qualified of teaching the IBDP list of English Literature such as The Epic of Gilgamesh, Heart of Darkness, The Great Gatsby.
