My name is Rakib Al Mahdi, I am a final year student at Hong Kong University, Biomedical Engineering, I have almost 6 years of tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics across IB DP, MYP, IGCSE, AP, A Levels. I scored 5 A*s in A Levels, with World Highest score in Biology, Country Highest score in Physics and Further mathematics. I got offers of admission from Oxford University ( could not go to due to family reasons), and I went to Yale University on exchange for a year.

I started teaching private, then I moved to a reputed tuition center to tutor part time on weekday evenings and weekends whole day. My strength lies in engaging students in the lesson using fun facts, anecdotes, showing the usefulness of science and maths, coupled with empathy, genuined passion for care for my students, and thus, students love my lessons. I helped students score 7 in IB in subjects like Biology HL, Chemistry HL, Physics SL, Maths AA HL and SL. Some students even achieved 45/45. I have successfully helped students from a 1 to a 7 in IGCSE Chemistry, from a 2 to a 5 in IB Biology HL, successfully helped in Criterion B, C for MYP and IAs in Biology, Chem, Physics and Maths. I was teaching 21 students per week. Due to recent restructuring in that tuition center, they had to let go of part time tutors.
