am a Licensed Professional Teacher specializing in Biological Science, with a strong academic foundation—holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and a Master of Arts in Psychology. With over 16 years of teaching experience, I have developed a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to student success across various levels and curricula.
I currently serve as the Head of the Science Department at an international school in Indonesia, a position I have held for the past four years. In this leadership role, I oversee curriculum development, mentor faculty, and ensure academic excellence in science education.
My teaching portfolio is diverse and global. I have 7 years of experience teaching Cambridge Science, including 5 years focused on IGCSE Biology, and I am currently handling AS/A Level Biology for Junior College 2. In addition, I teach Secondary Science for Secondary 1 and 2 students, as well as Primary 6 Science, demonstrating my ability to adapt across age groups and learning needs.
Prior to my international teaching career, I spent 7 years teaching at the college level in the Philippines, equipping students with foundational and advanced knowledge in the sciences. Outside of academia, I also have four years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, where I developed key analytical, communication, and process improvement skills.
My multidisciplinary background, coupled with a strong foundation in science education, allows me to approach teaching with both academic rigor and emotional intelligence. I am committed to inspiring learners, fostering critical thinking, and contributing meaningfully to any academic institution I become a part of.
