Hello, I’m Dr. Robert Wells, and I bring a unique blend of experience to my tutoring. I’m a primary-trained teacher, however I’ve worked in schools, colleges, universities, and I currently teach at post-graduate university level. Given this, I understand the learning journey from its earliest stages right through to higher education.

As a native speaking British person living in Hong Kong, for many of my clients I specialise in developing strong English language skills, including phonics, and basic communication for their children. I can also support essay writing and research skills (much of my university work involves supervising research dissertations). Beyond English, I can also provide valuable support in Maths, Science, and coding.

My PhD is in music, and I’m able to offer piano, keyboard and composition/songwriting tuition. I particularly enjoy working with beginners, getting them started with music in a fun and engaging way.
