School-wide language policy: The junior high school uses Chinese as the teaching language. Some junior high school classes learn some topics in geography and science in English. In junior middle school, Chinese, English, and mathematics are taught in groups according to ability; while in high school, Chinese, English, mathematics, and general communication are taught in groups according to ability. The school improves students' language proficiency through activities such as the Chinese and English Reading Award Scheme, inter-school recital competition, English Week, listening to music to learn English and debate competitions.
