The principal of Shatin Government Secondary School encourages students to write down community history
It has been 45 years since the school was founded. Principal Huang Guangrong told reporters that the school will work with professors from the history and geography departments of Hong Kong Baptist University to compile an oral history book. The book will include the appearance of Sha Tin in the 1970s, including the development of geography, transportation network, etc., as well as the surrounding environment when Sha Koon founded the school in 1972.
