伏位一：以為「港大畢業」就一定識教 DSE Writing
港大中大畢業生英文水平高冇錯，但 DSE Writing 有自己一套 marking scheme。考評局 marker 睇嘅唔係你啲字有幾華麗，而係 content、language、organization 三大範疇嘅平衡。好多新手導師以為用晒 sophisticated vocab 就會高分，結果學生寫到 marker 都睇唔明，反而跌 grade。
伏位二：Paper 3 Listening 只係操 Past Paper
Paper 3 分 Easy Part 同 Difficult Part，近年 Difficult Part 越來越刁鑽，speaker 口音同語速都喺度變。單純做 Past Paper 唔夠，要訓練 30 秒預覽定位關鍵字嘅能力。GETUTOR 內部導師培訓教材指出，一個 Listening Level 4 嘅學生通常係死操 PP，而 Level 5 以上嘅學生都識用 predictive listening 技巧。
伏位三：Speaking 淨係練 fluency，冇練 content
