黃埔 IB BM 補習防伏位
第一伏：誤以為 IA 係 marketing project。IB BM IA 係 research project，要有清晰嘅 research question、proper methodology、secondary data triangulation，唔係簡單寫一份 marketing plan。黃埔家長最常聽錯，導致學生用咗錯嘅 framework。要老師喺第一堂就講清楚 IA criteria。
第二伏：忽略 command terms。IB 嘅 command terms（define vs explain vs evaluate vs analyse）有嚴格嘅 mark allocation。例如 evaluate 必須有兩面論述加結論，但好多黃埔學生只寫 explanation 就以為足夠。揀補習老師要佢能夠每次出 mock 都批改 command terms 對應度。
第三伏：揀錯 IA 公司。正如 quote 提到，揀屋企小生意做 IA 容易 data 不足。理想係揀香港或國際上市公司、或者有公開年報嘅 SME。黃埔附近嘅日進連鎖、九龍倉地產等都係好 case study choice。
第四伏：以為 HL 比 SL 多兩個 unit 而已。實際上 HL paper 1 嘅 unseen case study 同 paper 2 嘅 essay length 都比 SL 深得多。揀補習老師要明確問清楚有冇親身考 HL，HL 同 SL 老師收費都應該有分別（HL 平均高 HK$30-50/小時）。
第五伏：低估 paper 1 case study 嘅準備時間。IB BM Paper 1 係 pre-released case study，學生考試前一個月就有題目，要花至少 20 小時做研究。但好多黃埔學生只用 5 小時草草完事。補習老師應該喺 pre-released 之後立即安排 4-6 堂集中訓練。
翁** Miss 第二堂就建議轉 IA 公司，將 subject 改為香港上市嘅日進國際集團，因為佢年報公開、業務多元、可以做 SWOT 加 financial ratio analysis。第三堂去到第八堂集中重做 IA framework + 寫作，第九到第十二堂攻 paper 1 + paper 2。最終學生 IA 由 21/35 升到 30/35，最終 IB BM HL 拎 6，差少少 7。家長個 review：「無翁** Miss 即時建議轉 IA topic，個女肯定唔可能拎 6。」呢個個案反映咗黃埔 IB BM 配對最關鍵嘅一步——揀啱 IA topic。
