Graduated with a MA and BBA, I have had teaching experience at both tertiary and secondary level, which includes conducting consultation sessions for undergraduates to address their language needs, on essays and academic presentations, and thus developing my skills as a mentor, in giving constructive criticism, offering guidance on academic work and career prospects.
Outside of my teaching capacity, I have also been an A level examiner, for which I have received trainings, marked and moderated students’ work internally and during examination seasons, with a particular focus on English language and literature.
I specialise in honing raw student writings to fit marking criteria under the pressure of time. From a marker’s perspective, I teach my students to write predictably in a given structure, thereby benefitting from making markers’ lives easier.
