I am a master’s student of mathematics at the University of Zürich, I have obtained a bachelor’s degree in physics from HKUST. I studied IBDP in high school, and obtained 41/45 in the final exam. I am also holding a valid work permit (IANG), so I will be able to work in HK. I am quite passionate about teaching in mathematics and physics as I enjoyed the subjects very much personally. In my undergraduate studies, I have majored in physics and I was particularly interested and have obtained good grades in morden physics, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, cosmology and particle physics. I am now studying for a master’s degree in mathematics at UZH, and I am also quite strong in fundamental mathematics courses, including calculus, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, algebra, topology, measure theory and probability. My tutoring experience is that I helped a student to prepare for the repetition exam for analysis for natural sciences at UZH, which is a first-year mathematics course offered to student from other science departments. The topics include vector arithmetic, differential and integral calculus, differential equations, and functions of several variables. As a tutor, I explained topics from the textbook, demonstrated necessary tricks to solve problems, giving feedbacks on a student performance, and predicted the topics that might occur in the repetition exam. As I am currently studying for my master’s degree at Zurich, so I prefer to offer online tutoring session through zoom, but any topics from amthematics to physics will work for me.
