本人於英國約克大學主修英國當代文學,於2020年取得近現代文學及文化碩士;擁有接近8年以上IGCSE 英語教學經驗,熟悉IGCSE教育制度,並有豐富的海外升學諮詢服務。本人強調英語的整體應用,培養學生在校內、日常生活、以及往後在職場上使用英語時,都能夠得心應手。提供的英語教學範圍主要包括應試課程 (IGCSE)、基本應用英語課程、海外升學培訓課程等等。另提供課堂所需的筆記及作業、批改服務、WhatsApp學業支援等額外服務。 現在或曾經教授過的學生來自不同學校,包括 DBS、DGJS、Chinese International School、Hong Kong International School、American International School、Shanghai American School、Good Hope、Wah Yan College (Kowloon)、St. Paul Convent School等等。
Graduated with a MA and BBA, I have had teaching experience at both tertiary and secondary level, which includes conducting consultation sessions for undergraduates to address their language needs, on essays and academic presentations, and thus developing my skills as a mentor, in giving constructive criticism, offering guidance on academic work and career prospects.
Outside of my teaching capacity, I have also been an IGCSE examiner, for which I have received trainings, marked and moderated students’ work internally and during examination seasons, with a particular focus on English language and literature.
I specialise in honing raw student writings to fit marking criteria under the pressure of time. From a marker’s perspective, I teach my students to write predictably in a given structure, thereby benefitting from making markers’ lives easier.
My teaching feedback forms are positive at institutions I serve and I have had a good relationship with both students and colleagues, and would be delighted to discuss my application with you further.

I was a college student with Dean’s Honour Award, who is also an experienced IGCSE tutor for 7 years and my students achieved their results under a comfortable and efficient learning environment.
I studied in an international school and obtained an IGCSE English score A*. I am currently studying in the university of Hong Kong, majoring in Social Work and Psychology.

九龍城(含紅磡、何文田、九龍塘)國際學校學生密度高,IGCSE English 嘅補習需求集中喺 Paper 2 Writing。家長最常見嘅 trigger 點 — 就係仔女明明日常英文流利,但一寫 essay 就攞 C。根據 GETUTOR 後台 2024-2026 年九龍城區 IGCSE English 配對紀錄,樣本約 142 宗,平均配對時間係 5.9 小時*,比 IGCSE 平均 6.2 小時略短,反映呢區英文導師供應比較充足。
IGCSE English(First Language 同 Second Language 兩個版本)嘅 Paper 2 Writing 佔分大,但係家長唔知 — IGCSE 同 其他國際學制 Writing 嘅 marking style 差好遠。IGCSE 鍾意睇 「response to prompt」 嘅 specificity,其他國際學制 鍾意 cohesion 同 vocab range。混淆兩個 framework 寫嘅 essay,兩邊都唔得分。
九龍城區試堂後繼續率係 85%*,係全港最高之一。配對成功之後,家長 retain 率好高。

Miss B(按導師私隱要求使用化名,導師資歷已獲 GETUTOR 平台認證) — 香港中文大學英文系畢業,IELTS 8.5,劍橋 CELTA 證書,曾任職國際學校英文科兩年,現為全職 IGCSE 私補導師。教學年資 6 年,累計教過超過 26 個 IGCSE English 學生(覆蓋 First Language + Second Language),當中 13 個攞到 A 或 A*。主補九龍城、紅磡、何文田一帶嘅國際學校學生。教學風格偏「逐段批改 + voice training」。
Miss B 講:「IGCSE Paper 2 Writing 個關鍵唔係 sophisticated vocab,係 」voice」 — 即係 register。學生鍾意全部都用 academic tone 寫,但 prompt 可能要求 informal letter、article、speech,呢啲文體 register 完全唔同。Marker 一見唔識揀 register 直接扣分。」
