I am the youngest in my year to receive university offers as I was give an opportunity to skip 2 grades. My profile is as below:
Year 1-Year 9 – studied in an international school in Hong Kong
Year 12 & 13 – studied in one of the top performing high school (OIC) in UK after I achieved 3 其他學制 A* and 8.5 IELTS results. My 其他學制 predicted grade in Maths, Pure Maths, Physics and Chemistry is A* for each subject.
I got conditional offer for Mathematics from three top universities in UK and conditional offer for Quantitative Finance in CUHK and HKUST.
I have 2 years of tutoring experience teaching Maths, Physics and Chemistry. All the students I taught had a massive improvement in their grades.

荃灣學生嘅共同痛點係:Paper 2 MC 做得快,但最後 10-15 條卡住。呢啲係考評局刻意設計嘅「兩選項睇落都啱」題型,好少直接代入就答到。家長報補習社大班好多時學係學啲「快速算法」,但用個個 trick 唔係適合所有題目。
Section 2:導師 Quote + 獨家教學法
Mr. H(按導師私隱要求使用化名,導師資歷已獲 GETUTOR 平台認證)—— 香港中文大學數學系畢業,DSE 數學科 5**,M2 5*,教學年資 6 年,主補荃灣、葵芳、青衣區 Band 1-2 中學,累計帶過 44 個學生,其中 11 個 DSE 數學攞 Level 5 或以上*。Mr. H 話:「好多學生考 Paper 2 MC 到最後 10 條就亂晒,其實唔係佢唔識,係佢冇一套 systematic 嘅方法處理高階題。」
Mr. H 用一套叫「代數值代入法」:唔好代 0、1、-1(因為考評局嘅 option 近年專登設計成代呢啲數字會重疊),揀 a = 2, b = 3 呢類互素嘅細數字。呢個方法對於 algebraic identities、inequalities、trig identities 題目特別 work。係,表面上係「作弊」嘅方法,但 DSE 畀分係睇答案對唔對,只要你得出正確選項就係攞到分。
佢仲教計數機嘅「隱藏功能」:Pol / Rec(極坐標互換)、Base(進位制)、CMPLX(複數計算)。呢啲係考評局批准嘅,但好多學生完全唔知點用。Mr. H 第一堂就會要求學生帶 Casio fx-50FH II 嚟,示範點樣用 Pol 喺 30 秒內處理 Coordinate Geometry 嘅旋轉題目。呢個節省嘅時間足夠做多兩三條長題目。

Section 5:GETUTOR 導師防伏貼士
GETUTOR 導師防伏貼士:Paper 1 嘅步驟畀分(working marks)好多 Band 2-3 學生唔重視,以為計錯就算,jump 下題。但其實 Paper 1 好多題目就算最終答案錯,寫到兩三步正確步驟都可以攞 1-2 分。一張卷攞番呢啲分,可以差一個 level。Mr. H 堂堂都會強調:任何題目冇把握嘅都要寫到步驟 —— 齋 jump 係最蝕。
另一個伏:Coordinate Geometry 嗰幾條 MC。考評局近年鍾意出「圓 + line 相交」或者「三角形外心 / 內心」嘅題目。好多學生一見呢類題目就想齋代入,但其實畫個圖出嚟用幾何性質判斷會快好多。Mr. H 堅持每個 Coordinate Geometry 題目都要 sketch 圖,唔係齋代公式。
