Miss W 講過：「觀塘區學生最大嘅問題唔係 grammar 唔啱，而係 idea 太單薄。畀佢一個題目 ‘Should HK ban single-use plastic’，佢可以寫到三段，但每段都係嗰幾個 idea 反覆嚟講，閱卷員睇到第二段已經悶到唔想再睇。」
佢嘅做法係 Writing 三大技巧：
第一，善用考評局過往文章。每次 DSE Writing 嘅熱門題目其實有規律——環保、社會、教育、個人成長嗰幾個 main theme 反覆出。你預先讀熟近 5 年嘅 sample answers，自己 build 一個 idea bank，考試嗰陣抽呢度搬嗰度，唔使現場諗。
第二，套用近期熱話。考評局批卷員都係香港人，你 reference 香港社會議題（例如劏房、補習文化、年青人 mental health），即刻 stand out 過齋寫 textbook example。
第三，代入角色寫。如果題目叫你寫 letter to editor，唔好用一個 generic 「concerned citizen」嘅 voice，set 一個 specific persona——例如 「a 17-year-old DSE student who failed to get into university」，整篇 essay 嘅 emotion 同 detail 即刻 differentiate。呢套外面雞精班教唔到，因為要逐個學生改 essay。
