nn好多學生做 Hypothesis Testing 嗰陣，淨係記住「p-value 細過 significance level 就 reject H₀」。但考評局近年鍾意出一類題目：佢唔會直接畀你 significance level，而係要你自己判斷用 one-tail 定 two-tail test。揀錯 tail，成題嘅 critical region 就錯晒。
nn點防？睇題目有冇「greater than」「less than」（one-tail）定「different from」（two-tail）。呢三個字眼係考評局嘅暗號，你一定要圈起佢。
nn出面好多補習社教人用 LIATE 法則揀 u 同 dv。呢個法則大部分時間 work，但考評局有幾年出過一啲題目係故意令 LIATE 失效嘅——例如 ∫x²eˣ dx 要做兩次 by parts，如果你死跟 LIATE 但唔識判斷幾時要重複，就會卡死喺度。
