防伏位:揀 P6 英文老師最常犯嘅錯

GETUTOR 導師防伏貼士:第一個伏,係家長以為「Native speaker 一定教得好」。教細路嘅最大要素係耐性同識用小朋友嘅語言溝通,唔係 accent。我哋見過唔少 case,學生跟咗 native speaker 半年仍然唔肯講英文,反而轉去一個本地老師後一個月內就開口。

第二個伏,係齋背 vocabulary list。好多補習社畀啲列表叫學生背 100 個字,下星期默書。但 P6 學生嘅最大瓶頸係 application——識生字但唔識用喺寫作。識教嘅老師會由生字直接帶去造句,再去 paragraph,呢個 chain 先 work。

第三個伏,係齋教呈分試卷。好多 P6 學生考完呈分後,11 月、12 月先發現中學銜接嘅 syllabus 完全跟唔到。所以最好喺呈分試前後跟同一個老師,咁佢識調整 priority。

FAQ

P6 英文係咪一定要 native speaker?

唔一定。本地老師更熟悉小學 syllabus,反而更幫到呈分試。但如果想升中後 oral 進步,可以考慮兩種老師交替。

P6 寫作差,補幾耐先見效?

一般 6-10 堂可以見到結構改善。但要去到「自然下筆」,通常要 12 堂以上配合自己每星期寫 1 篇文。

升中後仲要繼續同一個老師補咩?

建議繼續至少 6 個月,因為老師熟悉學生個底。轉新老師重新建立溝通需要時間,初中 setup 會走樣。
