出面好多大班補習社都教學生 Paper 2 MC 用「代入法」，但冇講清楚千祈唔好代 0、1 同 -1。因為考評局近年專登設計咗一啲選項，令到代入 0 或 1 嗰陣幾個答案會同時成立。正確做法係揀 a=2, b=3 呢類「夠特別」嘅數字，通常一次過就分到勝負。
Casio fx-50FH II 同 Sharp EL-W506T 其實有 Pol / Rec（極坐標轉換）,Base（進位制）,CMPLX（複數）等功能，M1 / M2 考生如果識用可以慳成分鐘時間。但大班老師一班 60 個學生，冇可能逐個教你按計數機，呢啲位就係私補先教到嘅細節。
考評局 marking scheme 明文寫住，寫兩三行合理 working 已經可以攞 1-2 分。所以就算最後個答案計唔到，都要盡量拆步寫出嚟。GETUTOR 統計，配對咗私補之後 2-3 個月，學生 Paper 1 嘅步驟分平均由 38% 升到 62%，單靠呢一招就夠由 Level 3 爬上 Level 4。

一位九龍城區 Band 1 英中嘅中五學生，配對前 Mock 核心數學得 Level 3、M2 得 Level 2。經過 14 堂私補後（主力補 Coordinate Geometry + Integration），DSE 最終核心數學攞到 Level 5、M2 攞到 Level 4。導師亦提醒佢考試前一星期唔好再做新題目，專心 rewrite 錯題本，結果全場冇慌。
