防伏位 1:搞混「mitosis 同 meiosis」唔止係記錯名
好多學生以為自己分得清 mitosis 同 meiosis,但考評局最鍾意出嘅 trap 係:「In which stage does crossing over occur?」答 mitosis 嘅學生出奇地多。點解?因為佢哋背咗 prophase 有 crossing over,但唔記得係 prophase I of meiosis,唔係 mitosis 嘅 prophase。Miss T 建議:「你畫一個大表,左邊 mitosis、右邊 meiosis,逐個 phase 對比,用唔同顏色 highlight 獨有嘅 event,例如 crossing over、independent assortment 淨係出現喺右邊。貼喺書枱前面,每日望一次。」
防伏位 2:Essay question 唔係寫得多就高分
Mr. H 指出:「我改過好多學生嘅 mock paper,發現最大嘅問題係佢哋寫咗成版,但入面冇一個 keyword 係 marking scheme 有嘅。Bio 嘅 Essay question 係跟 keyword 畀分,唔係跟你寫幾多嘢。例如問你解釋 enzyme specificity,你一定要寫到 ‘lock and key model’、’active site’、’complementary shape’。少一個 keyword 就少一分,就算你用自己嘅語言解釋到,都唔會畀分。」
防伏位 3:實驗設計題嘅 Control Group 唔可以唔寫
呢個係年年都有學生中嘅伏。實驗設計題入面,就算題目冇特別問你 control,你都要寫。因為 marking scheme 會有一分係 set up a control for comparison。Mr. H 嘅 CCRV 框架(Control group、Controlled variables、Repeat、Volume/量化指標)就係針對呢個——只要你每次都用呢四個元素去 check 自己嘅答案,基本上唔會漏。
