深水埗讀 IB Bio 嘅學生，到底卡喺邊？
根據 GETUTOR 後台 2024-2026 年嘅配對紀錄*，全港 IB 課程嘅補習需求過去兩年升咗差唔多 47%，而生物科（Biology HL / SL）嘅需求升幅更加誇張，接近 52%。深水埗區雖然唔係傳統國際學校重災區，但近年有唔少住喺美孚、長沙灣、又一村一帶嘅家長，都會將小朋友送去拔萃男書院附屬小學、九龍塘區嘅國際學校，或者轉制到英基系統（ESF）嘅學校讀 IB。
呢班學生最痛嘅問題係乜？唔係背唔到嘢，而係「IB Bio 嘅 command terms 同香港 其他國際學制 完全係兩套語言」。其他國際學制 生物你識寫 function、識畫 diagram 就有分；IB Bio 就算你記晒成本 Campbell Biology，你唔識分 “outline” 同 “explain” 嘅分別，一樣攞唔到 7 分。

佢自己有一套「Command Term Decoder」練習法：每次做 past paper 之前，先用 5 分鐘將題目入面嘅 command term 圈起，然後逐個諗返 IB 官方定義要求嘅答題格式，先至落筆。根據 Mr. L 過去兩年嘅學生紀錄，用呢個方法練兩個月，Paper 2 平均可以由 4 分升到 6 分。

伏位 1：用 其他國際學制 思維去答 IB 題
其他國際學制 Bio 好多時一個 function 一個 mark，但 IB 係睇 mark scheme 逐點對。舉個例，問「Explain the process of translation」，其他國際學制 可能寫三句就 full mark；IB 要寫到 6-8 個 distinct points 先拎到 6/6。好多學生第一次做 IB past paper 都以為自己識，一睇 mark scheme 先知差天共地。
伏位 2：IA（Internal Assessment）亂搞
IA 佔 IB Bio 總分 20%，但好多學校老師唔會逐個學生 step-by-step 教。根據 GETUTOR 2024-2026 年數據，深水埗及九龍區 IB 配對中，約 41% 家長喺 IA deadline 前兩個月先急急腳搵 tutor*。嗰陣先補，導師只能幫你執 variables、執 graph，RQ（Research Question）都已經冇得改，拎 7 分機會幾乎係零。建議最遲 IA 開始前兩個月就要搵定人跟。
伏位 3：死背 Campbell 或 Pearson 教科書
