奧數有個好特別嘅問題:好多數學叻嘅人自己識做,但解釋唔到畀小朋友聽。因為佢哋嘅思考跳得太快,中間嘅邏輯鏈對佢哋嚟講「理所當然」,但細路根本跟唔上。
揀導師嘅時候,唔好淨睇佢數學幾叻,要睇佢有冇教過同年齡嘅學生。教小四同教中二完全係兩回事。

學奧數對 DSE 數學有冇幫助?
有,而且幫助比好多人想像中大。DSE 數學 Paper 1 嘅 Long Question 最後幾題,同奧數嘅思維模式好接近——都係要你由已知條件一步步推出結論。根據 GETUTOR 導師嘅觀察,細個學過奧數嘅學生,中學數學 Paper 1 尾幾題嘅得分率普遍高 15-20%。*

私補同奧數班有咩分別?應該揀邊個?
奧數班(例如學校嘅奧數隊訓練或者坊間機構)適合已經有一定基礎、需要大量操練同「睇人點做」嘅學生。私補適合初學者、或者程度太高 / 太低跟唔上大班進度嘅學生。最理想嘅組合係:私補打底 + 奧數班操練,兩樣夾埋。
