防伏位一：唔好淨信「名校出身」嘅導師。我哋後台見過唔少屯門家長指定要「港大中大畢業」，但其實數學補習最睇嘅唔係學歷，而係「拆解步驟嘅能力」。有啲 5** 狀元自己識做，但解釋唔到畀中 Band 3 學生聽。揀導師應該睇佢教過幾多同你小朋友程度相近嘅學生。
防伏位二：Paper 1 長題目一定要寫步驟。考評局近年 marking scheme 越嚟越嚴，淨係寫個答案冇 working，就算啱都只會得 1 分（out of 5）。屯門學生最常犯呢個錯，因為中學老師一般唔會逐份卷批 working。
防伏位三：計數機型號要揀啱。考評局只容許特定型號，但唔同型號嘅隱藏功能差好遠。CASIO fx-50FH II 同 Sharp EL-509VM 功能唔同，揀錯就少咗好多 shortcut。
