根據 GETUTOR 後台 2024-2026 年 金鐘區嘅配對紀錄,樣本約 352 宗,IGCSE 英文科平均配對時間約 3.3 小時,試堂後繼續率達 82%,係相對穩陣嘅 benchmark。今次我哋訪問咗區內兩位平均 3.8 年教學經驗嘅專業導師,幫家長拆下中招位。
何** Sir(按導師私隱要求使用化名)— 香港教育大學英文系畢業,其他國際學制 英文 5。教學年資 4 年,累計教過超過 19 個 IGCSE 英文學生,當中 7 個攞到 Level 5 或以上。教學風格偏向先拆 concept、再操卷,而唔係齋操 past paper。何** Sir 嘅學生通常喺第 4-5 堂之後就會開始見效。
「好多同學以為操卷夠多就會升 grade,其實 英文科最重要係 concept 嘅 internal model。我教學生每個 chapter 都要識用自己嘅説話講返個 logic 出嚟,唔識講就即係未明,未明就操幾多卷都係錯。」— 何** Sir
第一個重要概念係核心 framework 嘅 internal model。學生常犯錯係將每個 topic 當成獨立記憶單元,但其實 英文嘅 marking scheme 鍾意 cross-topic application。導師會用對比表幫學生理解唔同 topic 之間嘅 link,配合核心題目嘅 anchor case,幾堂內就睇得通。每一個核心 chapter 都會出 1-2 條 anchor 例子,學生熟悉之後遇到陌生變奏題都唔會慌。
第二個係Reading 嘅深層應用。考評局成日喺呢度設陷阱,題目用「比較最合適」、「以下推斷最合理」呢類字眼,學生淨係抄返表面信息就會跌坑。專業導師會教學生畫「線索線」,圈出題目入面嘅關鍵字眼,再 cross-link 返答案要求,命中率立即升。再進階就會教 SQ3R 嘅 framework (Survey / Question / Read / Recite / Review),幫學生喺考試壓力下都能保持條理。
何** Sir 仲分享過一個區內觀察。金鐘學生因為交通方便,多數會跟 1-2 間補習社加埋私補嘅組合。佢建議家長唔好同時報太多 source,因為唔同 source 嘅教學 framework 唔同,學生反而會 confused。佢嘅學生 typically 只跟一個私補導師,全程跟到考完 其他國際學制 / Mock,呢個 setup 嘅 success rate 最高。
陳** Sir(按導師私隱要求使用化名)— 香港大學英文系畢業,其他國際學制 英文 5**。教學年資 6 年,累計教過 34 個學生,15 個攞到 Level 5。陳** Sir 強項係整理 notes 同 mind map,幫到怕 long question 嘅學生重新建立答題框架。佢嘅家長 feedback 多數係「終於明白小朋友卡喺邊」呢類,因為 陳** Sir 會用 visual 嘅方法將 abstract concept 簡化。
第三個係長題目嘅論點層次。好多同學寫到「論點 → 例子 → 完」就停低,但係考評局要求嘅係「論點 → 闡釋 → 例子 → 反駁 → 重申」五層結構。導師會用 mind map 幫學生熟練呢個 framework,平均 6-8 堂之後寫嘅答案就有明顯進步。長題目仲要識用「轉折詞」例如「誠然」、「然而」、「事實上」幫助過渡,閱卷員一睇就知學生有 structure。

家長最常問嘅問題之一,就係點解小朋友校內默書 OK 但 Mock 就差成一截。答案通常係兩個原因。第一,校內默書多數係單一 chapter 同類似題目;但 Mock 同 IGCSE 係混合 chapter 出題,要學生 cross-link 唔同概念。第二,校內試題比較貼 textbook,IGCSE 嘅 Paper 1 / 2 都好鍾意搞 application,學生唔慣應變就會跌坑。何** Sir 同 陳** Sir 兩位專業導師都強調,每個學生由校內水平過渡到 IGCSE 水平,至少需要 4-6 個月準備。
另一個常見問題係補習要唔要做埋校內嘅功課。根據 GETUTOR 後台統計,2024-2026 年入面有 78% 嘅家長傾向「校內功課自己做、補習集中操 IGCSE 卷」呢個分配。原因係導師嘅時間有限,應該擺喺最影響成績嘅 IGCSE 框架上。如果學生有特別搞唔掂嘅校內 topic,導師亦會花 1-2 堂幫手過 concept。
陷阱一,Paper 2 Writing 同 Paper 3 Integrated 嘅題目唔好機械式 apply 公式。考評局要嘅係「達意」嘅推論過程,唔係字典式對應。學生死背反而會失分。導師會用三步法(理解 → 整理 → 順讀)幫學生練習,呢個方法可以避免死記硬背。
陷阱二,閲讀/數據題嘅引文要連同上下文一齊讀。淨係讀一句通常會 miss 咗作者真正嘅 tone,答案就會偏。Tone analysis 係 Level 5 學生同 Level 4 學生嘅分水嶺。
陷阱三,長題目唔好用太多 buzz word。學生以為堆學術術語可以加分,其實考評局要嘅係「論證有力」而唔係「修辭華麗」,堆砌術語反而扣印象分。優秀嘅長題目應該每段一個主要論點,論點之後立即用具體事實 support,先寫出有説服力嘅文章。

GETUTOR 配對嘅試堂全部免費。家長提交需求之後,平台會配對 1-3 位適合嘅導師,揀好之後可以同導師約一堂試教(通常 1 小時),試完先決定要唔要繼續。金鐘區平均 3.3 小時就有導師回覆。試堂目的係幫家長同學生 evaluate 個 fit,唔係要學生第一堂就升 grade。
深度嚟自「論點分層」+「正反論證」。學生唔好淨係寫「我認為 X,因為 Y」,要寫「我認為 X,因為 Y1、Y2、Y3;雖然有人認為 Z,但係 Z 嘅問題在於 W」,三層論述加一層反駁就有 Level 5 嘅 framework。導師會幫學生熟悉呢個模式,6-8 堂之內可以變成 muscle memory。
另一個 tip 係用 anchor sentence 開首,再喺第一段重申主旨,閱卷員一打開就覺得學生有 structure。
冇 shortcut,但有 framework。導師會將呢類題目拆成 3-4 個 mental step,每個 step 有 trigger keyword 提示學生跳到下一步。練習 6-8 堂之後,學生面對陌生題目都能自動行 framework,唔再喺戰場上 freeze。
