第一個伏：唔好淨揀「其他國際學制 數學狀元」做 IB Maths 導師。其他國際學制 M2 同 IB AA HL 雖然有重疊，但 IB 嘅 vector geometry、complex number polar form、proof by induction 寫法唔同。我哋見過 case，導師係 其他國際學制 數學 5**，但教 IB 學生 induction 嗰陣連 base case 都寫得唔規範，去到 examiner 嗰邊冇分。
第二個伏：IA Mathematical Exploration 唔可以揀過於簡單嘅 topic。IBO 評分標準入面 Personal Engagement 同 Mathematical Reasoning 各佔 4 分，題目太簡單會直接封頂。理想 topic 應該有少少數學深度，例如 modelling、optimisation、probability simulation 嗰類，唔好揀「How to play poker」呢類得個吉嘅題。
第三個伏：calculator 設定。IB 接受 TI-Nspire 同 Casio fx-CG，但 Paper 2 + Paper 3 用嘅 syntax 唔同。Casio 嘅 differentiation function input 唔可以亂打，唔少銅鑼灣學生係用學校配嘅 TI-Nspire，但搵嘅補習老師熟嘅卻係 Casio。配對時最好提一句個 calculator 牌子。
