銅鑼灣係香港核心補習區之一,每年都有大量中四至中六學生家長搵 DSE 數學科專業導師。數學科考評重點覆蓋代數、幾何、Stats、Trigo 同應用題。好多家長以為操卷就夠,但係根據後台數據,淨係操卷而冇拆 concept 嘅學生平均只升半個 grade,相反先建概念再操卷可以升 1.5 個 grade。

「好多同學以為操卷夠多就會升 grade,其實 數學科最重要係 concept 嘅 internal model。我教學生每個 chapter 都要識用自己嘅説話講返個 logic 出嚟,唔識講就即係未明,未明就操幾多卷都係錯。」— 梁** Miss

第一個重要概念係Quadratic Equation 嘅 root behaviour。學生常犯錯係將 discriminant 公式背得鬆散。記住 b² – 4ac 嘅三個 case,大過零兩個 distinct real roots,等於零一個 repeated root,細過零無 real root。導師會用圖+表雙軌教學,同時 link 返 parabola 嘅 vertex 同 axis of symmetry,幫學生由代數同幾何兩邊夾。

第二個係三角函數嘅 unit circle。好多同學死背 sin30 = 1/2、cos60 = 1/2 但唔識用 unit circle 推導,去到 sin120 / cos150 就要重新背。導師會花 2 堂教 unit circle,之後所有角度都唔使背。Unit circle 嘅核心係 (cos θ, sin θ) 嘅 coordinate representation,加埋四個 quadrant 嘅 sign 規律(CAST rule),所有 sin / cos / tan 嘅值都可以即場推導。

梁** Miss 仲分享過一個區內觀察。銅鑼灣學生因為交通方便,多數會跟 1-2 間補習社加埋私補嘅組合。佢建議家長唔好同時報太多 source,因為唔同 source 嘅教學 framework 唔同,學生反而會 confused。佢嘅學生 typically 只跟一個私補導師,全程跟到考完 DSE / Mock,呢個 setup 嘅 success rate 最高。
