It is really rare to find a current examiner to come and tutor for me! He knows exactly what the marker wants to see and how to write to get high marks. Instead of just teaching grammar and vocabulary, she taught him a framework for answering questions, and taught him how to write a piece of writing that would be comfortable for the marker to correct.
