第一個重要概念係Tone 同 register 嘅 cal其他國際學制ration。寫 formal letter 同 informal email 嘅 vocabulary、sentence structure、greeting 都完全唔同。考評局每年都會 set 一條題目專測 tone awareness，學生 mismatch 嘅 tone 就會直接被扣 Content + Language mark。
第二個係Cohesion 同 coherence。Cohesion 係用 linker (however, moreover, in addition)；coherence 係 idea 嘅 logical flow。淨係用 linker 唔夠，每段都要回應上一段，整篇文章先讀得通。

大班講速度，私補講 feedback。如果你係 Level 3-4 想升 Level 5，私補導師可以即時睇你份答卷，逐題指出邊度唔 match marking scheme，大班導師根本做唔到呢啲。馬灣區嘅試堂繼續率達 79%，反映多數家長試完之後都覺得私補有效。當然如果家長預算有限，可以考慮小班教學作為過渡。
幾錢一堂合理？馬灣區平均收費點？
視乎導師背景同學生年級。一般 HKD 280-380 一堂（1.5 小時），其他國際學制 衝刺班約 HKD 380-480。馬灣區嘅平均收費同其他核心區相近，但因為導師供應充足，家長可以揀到合適嘅 fit。記住唔好淨係比較價錢，要睇導師有冇針對 A-Level 嘅實戰經驗。同樣價錢可以有質素差成倍嘅導師。
點先知個導師夠唔夠專業？
三樣嘢必睇。第一，自己 其他國際學制 英文嘅成績最少 5 或以上。第二，教學年資最少 3 年。第三，過往學生升 grade 嘅實例。GETUTOR 平台所有導師都經過認證，唔會有亂報資歷嘅問題。試堂之後家長都可以同學生傾下意見再決定。如果試堂後唔啱 fit 都可以重新配對，平台唔會收任何 cancellation fee。
馬灣有冇上門補習選擇？
有。馬灣區大部分導師都接受上門，視乎地點同時間 slot。如果家長想小朋友喺屋企專注，呢個係好選擇。視像補習都係多數導師接受嘅 mode，特別係 A-Level 衝刺期，時間彈性大啲。GETUTOR 平台會根據家長嘅 mode preference 自動 filter 導師，唔使家長自己一個個問。
試堂收唔收費？要點安排？
GETUTOR 配對嘅試堂全部免費。家長提交需求之後，平台會配對 1-3 位適合嘅導師，揀好之後可以同導師約一堂試教（通常 1 小時），試完先決定要唔要繼續。馬灣區平均 3.7 小時就有導師回覆。試堂目的係幫家長同學生 evaluate 個 fit，唔係要學生第一堂就升 grade。
Writing 範文要唔要全部背？
唔好背全文，只要記 useful expression。導師會幫學生建立一個 phrase bank 約 80-100 個 expression，按題目類型 deploy，比死背範文靈活十倍。
Speaking 緊張答唔到點算？
練 OREO framework 同模擬考。導師會錄音回放幫學生 self-correction，4-5 次模擬後信心會明顯升。
