DSE Chinese Language is really difficult to deal with. I was so confused with the Chinese language and the essay was always off-topic. I was lucky to find a tutor from Mongkok at GETUTOR. 旺角區嘅學生背景好 mix，有英中、有中中，程度參差。但共通點係：一到中五，距離 DSE 得返一年多啲，作文成績仲係 Level 3 上下就開始慌。中文唔似數學，唔係做多啲練習就會升 grade，所以搵到啱嘅導師特別重要。

GETUTOR 導師防伏貼士：中文作文最大嘅 trap 唔係寫錯字，係「離題」。好多學生以為自己有回應題目，但其實成篇文得一個大概嘅方向，冇真正扣緊題眼。Miss L 話：「考評局改卷第一件事就係睇你有冇離題。你寫得幾靚都好，一離題就直接 Level 2。」
佢教學生一個方法：寫之前用 5 分鐘做「主題句檢查」— 每一段寫完之後，問自己嗰段嘅主題句同題目有咩關係。如果答唔到，呢段就係多餘嘅，要刪。「好多學生唔捨得刪自己寫嘅嘢，結果成篇文枝節太多，主線唔清楚。你要記住，作文唔係寫多就好，係寫得準先好。」

個案分享（已匿名處理）：一位旺角區 Band 1 英中嘅中五學生，配對前 Mock 中文得 Level 3。佢最大問題係作文成日離題，加上範文背唔入腦。經過 10 堂私補後，DSE 最終攞到 Level 4，作文由以前嘅 Level 2-3 穩定去到 Level 4。
趕得切，但要即刻開始。中五下學期開始，學校已經會密集式操卷，呢個時間搵到導師可以同步幫你改作文、溫範文。如果拖到中六先補，時間真係唔夠用。
大班教技巧，但冇人逐篇幫你改作文。私補最大嘅價值係導師會睇你寫嘅每一篇文，指出你個人嘅問題，唔係講通用嘅套路。作文呢回事，一定要有人改先進步得到。
一般每星期一堂（1.5 小時）已經夠，但堂與堂之間學生要自己寫一篇作文畀導師改。如果距離 DSE 得返半年，可以加到每星期兩堂，一堂作文一堂範文。
