I have been teaching in the Prince Edward area for many years, and I have specialised in teaching students from the Diocesan Boys' School (DBS), St Paul's Secondary School, Blessed Sacrament School, American International School, and Po Leung Kuk Lam Man Chan English Primary School, etc. I have been teaching for many years in the Prince Edward area.

I am well aware of the pressure on students to rush to tutorials after school, so my classroom design places great emphasis on efficiency, focusing on the core of the Hong Kong Mathematics Curriculum, and I am good at reorganising the knowledge framework for my students.

He is very patient and responsible in teaching, and insists on systematically teaching different types of problems and problem solving techniques for each maths topic. He is especially good at developing unique strategies for multiple-choice (MC) problems, and has unique insights into almost every type of MC problem.

The content and depth of the programme are adjusted according to the level of the students and the target schools (e.g. Sacred Heart, Marymount, Singapore International School, Shatin Government, UUHK, Minsheng Hong Kong, etc.), so as to best suit the needs of the students.

For example, a DBS S3 student, who had repeated failures in internal tests, was able to leap from a failing grade to the top 30% in two months after I strengthened his skills in correspondence and geometric proofs, and taught him the effective MC elimination method.

Another student from the American International School had a weak foundation in Mathematics due to differences in the curriculum. I helped him to reorganise his mathematical logic and arithmetic fundamentals, together with a lot of training in contextualised application problems, and he was successfully upgraded to two levels in the internal assessment of the school within half a year.

More than 15 students from different backgrounds in the Prince Edward area have significantly improved by at least one grade in the mid-term examination with the help of systematic skills teaching and individualised practice.

I strongly believe that thorough understanding and proper methodology will help students to steadily achieve good results and make continuous progress.

Ms Leung is a very nice person and never gives me any pressure in class. I am scared of maths and get dizzy when I see some long questions, but she guides me patiently. Even if I make a mistake in calculating or ask some basic questions, she will not say anything to me, instead, she will smile and draw a diagram with me, and explain the steps again. Thanks to her confidence, I dare to try and think about things.
