第一伏：Lang A vs Lang B 揀錯。長沙灣家長最常踩嘅伏。Lang A 係 native speaker level（HK 本地學生默認），Lang B 係 second language（國際學校或外籍學生）。揀錯 stream 會浪費一年。揀補習老師要佢明白學生 background。
第二伏：以為 其他國際學制 中文老師可以教 IB Chinese。其他國際學制 中文重視範文同卷四說話，IB Lang A Lit 重視 unseen text analysis 同 literary criticism。揀補習老師要佢親身考過 IB Chinese。
