講真，喺 GETUTOR 做咗咁多年配對，IB Computer Science（下面簡稱 CS）呢科真係睇住佢由「冷門科」變成「搶手科」。AI 熱潮之後，差唔多每間 IB 國際學校都多咗人揀呢科，但問題係——揀得多，唔代表識得考。好多家長走嚟問我哋：「細路係校內拎緊 5，點解一做 Past Paper 就跌返落 3？」呢個就係 IB CS 最 tricky 嘅地方，我哋今日就拆清楚佢。
According to GETUTOR 2024-2026 全港 IB 科目配對紀錄，平台累計處理咗超過 8,120 宗配對，現役導師庫有 12,450 位*。當中 IB Computer Science 嘅配對數字，過去兩年增長咗接近 62%，係所有 IB 科目入面升得最快嘅三甲之一（另外兩科係 IB Economics 同 IB Maths AA HL）。

IB 七分制嘅殘酷之處係：校內拎 6 同外考拎 6，差距可以好遠。我哋見過有 DP1 學生校內係 Top 3，但一去考 Mock Paper 1 淨係拎 4，原因好簡單——校內老師出題偏 conceptual，IB 外考卻鍾意考 application。你話係咪陷阱？
我哋特登搵咗平台上一位教 IB CS 教咗 6 年嘅 Mr. L 出嚟講下佢嘅睇法：
「專補全港 IB 國際學校（包括 ESF 系、HKA 同 CIS 類）、香港科技大學 Computer Science 畢業、累計帶過超過 35 個 IB CS HL／SL 學生嘅 Mr. L 指出：『好多學生以為 IB CS 係學寫 code，咁就輸喺起跑線。IB CS 真正考嘅係 Computational Thinking，即係點拆解問題、點 abstract、點 decompose。Paper 1 Section B 拎唔拎到 7 分，睇你識唔識用 pseudocode 講一個 algorithm，唔係睇你 Java 寫得有幾靚。』」
Mr. L 慣用嘅一招叫「Trace Table 強迫法」——每條 algorithm 題，無論幾易，都要學生親手畫一次 trace table。點解？因為 IB 出題近年越嚟越鍾意喺 loop 同 recursion 度設陷阱，你單靠腦諗，好大機會 off-by-one。畫咗 trace table 之後，正確率平均由 48% 拉到 79% 左右*。
另外 IA 方面，Mr. L 強調學生最大誤區係「想做一個勁 cool 嘅 project」。IB 評分其實 care 嘅係 Criterion A 到 E，尤其 Criterion B（Record of tasks）同 Criterion C（Product），你 project 簡單啲冇問題，文件齊唔齊先係關鍵。呢啲嘢外面補習社大班唔會教到咁細。

留意：IB CS 平均配對時間比 其他國際學制 科目長，因為 唔單止要識 CS，仲要識 IB 評分 rubric 同國際學校英文教材，門檻高好多。
防伏貼士 1：Pseudocode 唔等於你平時寫嘅 Python。好多學生慣咗 Python 嘅 syntax，一入 exam 就寫 for i in range(10)，但 IB 官方 pseudocode 係用 loop I from 0 to 9。考評員見到你用 Python syntax，會照扣 Criterion 嘅 mark。千祈唔好貪方便。
防伏貼士 2：IA 唔好揀「幫朋友整個 game」呢類 topic。IB 要求 Criterion A 要有 identifiable client 同 real-world problem，「朋友想玩」唔算 real-world。GETUTOR 導師見過太多學生呢度失分，平均 Criterion A 因為 client 定義不清失約 3-4 分*。
防伏貼士 3：Paper 3 Case Study 唔好背。HL 學生最錯就係以為 case study 可以預先背哂答案。其實 IB 出題係考你點將 case study 嘅 context，套入 syllabus 嘅 concept 度。死背成篇 case study 反而會答到離題。正確做法係 Case study release 後，花 2-3 堂同導師逐段 mark up，identify 每段對應嘅 syllabus 範圍.
防伏貼士 4：HL 同 SL 唔係「HL 難啲」咁簡單。HL 多咗 Topic 5-7 同 Paper 3，而且 Paper 2 option 要學 OOP（SL 只需要選其中一個較淺 option）。由 SL 轉 HL 嘅學生要預多約 35-40 堂先追得返上去，唔好臨急轉。
